There is one misconception about the amount of money you will receive from your tax return.
I want to be clear about this so you are not surprised.
Your income tax refund depends on the total amount of money you made during 2018. Period.
Whether you are a single parent with two children, a business owner with one or one hundred employees, a student with two part time jobs, or a couple who is just starting a journey, your total yearly income determines your refund.
There is no magic formula.
I understand some are skeptical and that’s okay. What is not okay is to walk away from an opportunity.
Remember, your best way to clear doubts about your income tax return is to ask questions. No such thing as a bad question when an opportunity can come from taking the time to find out how your story in 2018 will affect your 2019.
“Every little bit helps” not only refers to money, but the courage to ask questions average tax payers don’t ask.
Step outside of your comfort zone. Do not give up because you do not understand tax law. I know it can be scary to ask a question about a field you are not familiar and have no interest.
I have no idea how to patch a flat tire nor have the desire to learn how four wheel transmission system works, but I find the courage to ask when I most need it.
Courage is something everyone is capable of, but so few summon it. Take a step forward because your questions will drive how things will turn out – including your yearly refund.
Make time to ask questions. You drive your story!
